Amook Alaskan Malamutes

Am/Can Ch. Amook's A Day At the Races CGC...or "Winston", is a beautiful blend of Huey and Whisper, combining the strengths I had hoped to pull from both sides of the pedigree. He is sweet and affectionate, and has more than full-filled the expectations we had for him. He finished his American Championship in limited showing at just under 18 months old. Along the way were some very exciting wins...Reserve and then Winner's Dog at the prestigious back to back Specialties in Harrisburg, followed by several Best of Breeds over specials, and then finishing with another 4 point major, for a total of 3 majors. In May of 2010 we began working on his Canadian Ch., which he finished in just two show weekends. Those wins included Best of Breed over specials, and a Group 4 under breeder judge Kim Meredith. Additionally, Winston sired his first litter here at Amook, giving us some very promising puppies.
