With flowing tears and broken hearts we said goodbye today to our beautiful Lacee. Her strong but sweet presence was felt everywhere here at Amook...from accomplished show dog, to wonderful mama-dog to two litters, to gentle companion to Huey in his last years, and then equally devoted to Winston during his. And finally, beloved companion to JR and I in her role as couch potato and supreme house dog. Lacee was demanding and determined from the day she walked in our door, until the very end. We were her servants, but she paid us back for it with years of love and devotion. Our loss and grief is immeasurable. Thank you Tina for entrusting this very special girl to us...you know how much we loved her.
Rest easy, my sweet beautiful Lacee-Doodle. I know your Wencinja and Amook families are waiting for you at the Bridge.
