Ch. Amook’s Crown Prince, CGC - “Royal”
04/14/2011 – 04/02/2024
My heart is breaking and I don’t know how to put in words what Royal was, what a character, and what a joy to live with…and how very much he will be missed. Exuberant, happy, and animated, this tank of a dog crashed through life like a bull in a China shop. He was both challenging and fun to show with his over the top excitement and I often imagined we bore a striking resemblance to Snoopy dragging Linus by his blanket, only it was me hanging on to Royal’s lead for dear life. Always lively, always happy, like all of Lacee’s kids he possessed a sweet, wonderful temperament.
Most of all though, Royal was a lovable, affectionate, cuddle bug. He loved attention, would snuggle with anyone who let him, and was not above waking somebody up to demand loving ( LOL…note Dad’s disgruntled face , no napping allowed, Dad!)..
This is an especially hard loss for us…he was the last of our beautiful Lacee’s kids. I’m trying to take comfort in knowing he is healed and pain free now, and has joined the rest of his Amook and Wencinja family over the Bridge. But how my heart aches for him here…
Love you my little Deet-man…we’ll see you again one day.
